G. D. Textiles

You can find us on Ray Colony Road. G. D. Textiles has been operating here for a long time. The street is usually full of activity, and you can often hear the sounds of work coming from the different buildings nearby. Inside our place, it’s mostly about the fabric. We have rolls of cloth stacked up in the corners and the smell of cotton is everywhere you go. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is when you work with textiles. We spend our days measuring things, checking the weave, and talking to the people who come in. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s more of a working space where things actually get done. We have a few old fans that hum all day long to keep the air moving, especially when it gets humid. Sometimes the lighting isn't great, but we know where everything is even if we are in a hurry. We eat our lunch together at a small table in the back room. It’s a simple routine. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just know our cloth and we know our customers. Most of the people who buy from us have been coming here for years. They know the shortcut through Ray Colony Road to get to our door. It’s a steady life, and we like the feeling of the fabric every day.
