Cozykids School

Cozykids School is located on Samdadi Road, in Ward No-28 of Balotra. We are out here in the Barmer district, so the weather is often quite dry and dusty. The school is specifically for the younger children in our neighborhood. We have set up the classrooms to be as comfortable as possible, given the heat we get in this part of Rajasthan. The rooms have some posters on the walls and plenty of chairs for the little ones. It is not a huge campus; it is more of a compact building where we can keep a close eye on all the kids. We spend our mornings helping them learn their ABCs and numbers. It gets quite loud when they all start singing rhymes together. The staff is mostly made up of women from the local area who are patient with the children. We have a small gate that we keep locked during the day for safety. The street outside can get a bit busy with trucks and bikes, so we make sure the kids stay inside the premises. We do not have any fancy buses; most parents just bring their kids on a scooter or walk them over. It is a very simple operation. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. We just look after the kids and teach them what they need to know before they go to a bigger school. It is just a normal part of life here in Balotra.
