Our place is called Ramaya Bhavan, and you can find it in Brajraj Nagar. It’s quite easy to spot because we are very close to the Ramja Power House and the SBI bank. Having the bank nearby is handy for when we need to sort out payments or paperwork. The power house can be a bit noisy at times, but we’ve grown used to the hum over the years. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly focusing on mechanical parts and some repairs. The workshop floor is usually covered in metal shavings or grease, and there’s always a project half-finished on one of the benches. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the tools and spare parts we’ve collected. We aren't the type to have a polished front office. Most people just walk straight through to where the work is happening. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power house is doing something big, but it doesn't stop us. We get a mix of customers, some regulars from the local factories and some new people who need a specific part fixed. We take things as they come. It’s a bit messy, but we know where every single wrench and bolt is kept. My boots are usually dirty by noon, and that’s just a sign of a good day's work. It’s an honest way to spend the time in this part of town. We just keep working until the job is done right for whoever brought it in.
