Acc - Holcim

This spot is right in the middle of things at the Bargarh Cement Works. We are located at E 16/ 124 in Bardol. It’s a dusty part of Bargarh, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with cement every day. People call us Acc - Holcim, and we spend most of our time making sure the loaders are on time and the bags are stacked right. The sun gets really hot out here in Bardol, especially in the afternoon when we're trying to clear out the morning orders. There’s no big signage or anything, just the usual gate and the office where we sit. Most of the people coming through are drivers who have been on the road for hours. We give them water and get their papers signed as fast as we can. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. I’ve been here long enough that the smell of wet cement feels normal. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or leather chairs, just wooden desks and a fan that squeaks a bit. It’s just us doing the job day in and day out. Sometimes the computers go slow, and we have to do things by hand, but we get it done. Bargarh is a hardworking town, and this site is a big part of that life. We keep things simple here and try to stay on top of the daily deliveries without overcomplicating the process.
