This is where we run the Bargarh Cement Works for Acc Limited, and we are part of the larger Holcim Group. Being in a place literally called Cement Nagar tells you exactly what life is like around here. Everything revolves around the plant. It’s a tight-knit community where most people work at the same place. Our office is right in the middle of it. We don't have much use for fancy descriptions or corporate polish. We’re just workers who know a lot about cement. The days usually start early before the sun gets too high. There’s a lot of noise from the machinery, but you stop noticing it after a while. We handle the local operations and make sure the quarters are looked after. It’s an older part of town, but it has everything we need. We don't try to sound like anything we aren't.
