Vanajaa Enterprises

If you walk down Raja Street, you’ll find us at number 618. We are right across from KTA Jewellery, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. The street is always packed with people shopping, and the noise of the bikes is constant. Vanajaa Enterprises is a straightforward place. We deal with various goods, and our shopfront is usually filled with whatever stock just arrived. It’s not a large space, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. Sometimes it feels like a puzzle trying to get a new shipment inside. We open up early in the morning, usually while the street is still being swept. My brother and I handle most of the customers ourselves. We don’t have a fancy sales team. We just talk to people, tell them what we have, and settle the prices. The lighting inside is a bit dim because we haven't changed the bulbs to the bright LEDs yet. We have a small desk in the back where we keep the ledger books. Everything is done by hand mostly, though we have a small computer for the bills. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the overhead fans on full blast. It’s a local business, and we know most of the people who walk past our door. We just try to keep the shelves full and the customers satisfied without making a big fuss.
