Marks Artifact

If you ever find yourself walking down towards Noorie Manzil in Pervez Nagar, you’ll likely see our small spot tucked away at number 6. Marks Artifact is basically just a collection of things we’ve gathered over a long time. It’s not a museum or one of those high-end galleries where you’re afraid to touch anything. It’s more of a place where things have a bit of history and maybe a bit of dust on them too. We spend our days cleaning items and trying to find a bit of space for new pieces that happen to come in. The shop is quite small and sometimes it feels a bit cramped with all the different objects sitting around on the floor and shelves. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who actually know where everything is kept. People stop by just to look at things, and we usually end up chatting for a good while. It’s a quiet part of the neighborhood for the most part, and we like it that way because it gives us time to look over what we have. Some things have been sitting on the shelves for years, while other stuff goes out the door the same day it arrives. We don't use fancy lighting or expensive displays. We just put things out where people can see them and decide for themselves. It’s a very simple way to run a business.
