Sankalp Handicrafts

We are located at 8 Kodesia Enclave in Izzat Nagar, which is right off the main Nanital Road. It is a pretty decent area to work in, and it's a bit quieter than the big main markets, which is actually quite nice for the kind of focused work we do here. We spend our days making various handcrafted items. There is usually a bit of a mess spread out on the worktables, with scraps of wood or pieces of fabric or whatever other materials we happen to be using for a project that day. We don't really mind the clutter though, because to us it just shows that we are actually busy making things. It is just a small group of us working together in the space. We talk a lot while we work, mostly about the weather or just what is happening around the neighborhood. We don't really have a big fancy sign out front, just the house number on the gate. Most people end up finding us through word of mouth or because they happen to live in the same part of town. We try not to rush and we take our time with the things we are making. If something doesn't look quite right at the end, we just start over or see if there is a way to fix the mistake. It isn't about being the fastest. We just like the feeling of finishing a project with our own hands for someone.
