Vidsat Bio Fuels Pvt. Ltd. is based in Nawabganj, specifically in Dhorera village. It’s a rural spot, very different from the city centers. We work with bio fuels, which mostly means we deal with waste from the farms and turn it into something useful. It’s messy work. You end up with dust on your skin and in your hair. The village is quiet most of the time, except for the sounds of our machinery. We have a few sheds where we keep the materials. We spend our days talking to the local farmers. They bring us what they don’t need from their fields. It’s a good way to use things up. We aren't some high-tech lab. We are just a bunch of guys in a village working with what we have. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it with wrenches and oily rags. That’s just part of the job. The air smells like earth and processed stalks. We just show up, do the work, and hope the rains don't get too heavy for the trucks to move. It is a long day usually, but we get it done.
