The office is tucked away at 19-B Shahdana Colony here in Bareilly. It’s a quiet enough spot most days, though the street gets a bit busy during the lunch hour when everyone is out for food. We’ve been operating from this building for a while now, and it suits what we do just fine. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a few old chairs that probably need replacing, and stacks of paperwork that never seem to get any shorter. The walls are a plain off-white color, and we have a small fan that rattles whenever it is on the high speed setting. You’ll usually find a couple of us sitting here, checking through invoices or talking to suppliers on the phone. We do not have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello, or the courier guy lingers for a minute to escape the heat. We keep the pharmaceutical supplies organized on the metal shelving in the back room. It’s not a huge place, but it’s ours and it’s where the work happens every day from morning until the sun goes down over Uttar Pradesh. We usually lock up around six and head home. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where we grab a cup most afternoons if things aren't too frantic. It’s a basic setup, but it works for us.
