Lavanya Delicious Foods

We are located right in the middle of the Bareilly Cant Cantonment. If you know the Central Market area, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We are quite close to the DLF Public School, so it gets really loud and busy around here when the kids get out. We started Lavanya Delicious Foods because we liked making things that people actually enjoy eating. It is a small kitchen setup, really. Mostly, we are just busy with the stoves and packing things up for the day. Some days the smell of spices is so strong it stays in your clothes all night. It’s not some big factory with robots. It’s just us, some heavy pots, and a lot of ingredients coming in every morning from the market nearby. We try to keep things fresh, which means we are usually running around like crazy before noon. The floors get sticky and the fans never seem to be fast enough in the summer. But we have been here for a bit and the regulars seem to like what we do. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything like that. We’d rather just make sure the food is good and the bags are filled properly. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps us going. We hope the bags don't tear when people carry them home. We just do our best with what we have here.
