Gulshan E Karim

Located at 138 Civil Lines, Gulshan E Karim is right across from the Implant Nursery and very close to the SSP office. Bareilly can be a busy place, but this part of Civil Lines has some nice old trees and a bit of a different feel. Our building is an older one, and we’ve tried to keep it in good shape over the years. We mostly serve people who work in the government offices nearby or folks who are in town for meetings. The kitchen starts early because we have to be ready for the lunch crowd that arrives all at once. We don't do anything too fancy with the decor; it’s just tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use. The menu is mostly traditional stuff that people in Bareilly have been eating for generations. We have a few regular staff members who know exactly how each dish should taste. Sometimes the place gets a bit loud when it’s full, but that’s just how it goes. We don't use a lot of modern tech, we still write down most orders by hand. It’s a simple way of doing things that works for us. We just try to keep the food consistent and the space welcoming for anyone who walks through the door. If you want a place that feels like old Bareilly, this is it. We spend our days making sure the kitchen is stocked and the customers are fed properly. It's a lot of hours, but we've been at it for years.
