Gokul Chand Phool Chand

If you walk down the Main Road in Beni Ganj, you’ll see our place right near the main market area. Gokul Chand Phool Chand has been a part of this village for years. It’s a busy spot because everyone passes through here to get to the shops. Our building is simple and doesn't stand out much, which is fine by us. We spend most of our time dealing with local supplies and talking to the folks who live nearby. The morning sun hits the front of the shop directly, so it gets quite bright inside early on. We keep things pretty informal. There’s usually a couple of chairs for people to sit while we sort through the daily tasks. It’s not a quiet place because of the tractors and bikes going past on the road, but we’re used to it. Sometimes we run out of space for storage and have to shift things around constantly. Our family has been running this for a long time, and we don't plan on changing much about how things work. We know most of our customers by name, and they know us. It’s just a regular village business where we try to stay honest and keep the work moving. No fancy computers or complicated systems here, just ledgers and a lot of face-to-face talk. It gets dusty in the summer, but that's just life on the main road. We keep going regardless.
