We are over at 63 Awas Vikas in Civil Lines. It’s a bit quieter here than in the industrial zones, which is nice for a change. Rekhi Exports has been based in this spot for several years. The office is actually part of an older building, so it has some character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We spend our days mostly handling the logistics of getting products from point A to point B. It involves a lot of paperwork, which can be a bit boring, but it’s necessary to make sure nothing gets stuck at the border. We have a small team, and we all know our roles pretty well. I usually handle the communication with the buyers, while a couple of others look after the inventory and the packing. We don’t have any big slogans or flashy logos. We just try to be decent at what we do. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and we’ll just order some food and keep working until it’s done. The neighborhood is friendly enough, and we know most of the people on our street. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t make things more complicated than they need to be. We just show up, do the work, and try to do it right.
