Our setup is out in Bagnapara, which is a village in the Burdwan district. We use Nirmal Kumar Nath’s place as our main point of contact. It is a quiet area, not like the big cities where everyone is rushing around. Most of what we do involves looking at land and talking to folks around the village and the nearby post office area. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. Usually, we just sit on the porch or in the front room to discuss whatever project is coming up next. Being in a place like Burdwan means we know the soil and the way things grow here. It is a simple life. We started this because there was a need for some organized building work in the local area. People around here know Nirmal, so they just stop by when they have questions about property or building stuff. Sometimes the power goes out, so we keep a lot of physical ledgers and notebooks instead of just relying on computers. It is a bit old-fashioned but it works. We walk to most of the sites because everything is fairly close by. The rain can slow things down in the monsoon, but that is just how it goes. We take our time and try to make sure things are done right. It is not a massive operation, just a few of us trying to keep busy. The locals know us by name and we like it that way.
