Kisholay Agro Tech Private Limited operates out of Kusumgram in the Manteswar block. It is a rural spot in Bardhaman where farming is the main thing everyone talks about. Our office is near the Gram Panchayat office, so it is pretty easy to find if you are a local. We started this because we saw a need for better technical support for the growers in our village. Most of us grew up watching our parents work the land. We handle things like soil health and helping people choose the right seeds for the season. It is a modest setup with a few desks and a lot of logbooks. We don't spend money on fancy signs or shiny furniture. Most of our work happens out in the fields or chatting with neighbors on the porch. The pace here is steady but it gets very hectic when the monsoon starts. Bardhaman is a big agricultural hub and we are just one small part of it in Manteswar. We try to be helpful and keep things simple. No one here likes complicated talk. We just want to make sure the crops are healthy and the work gets done. It is a quiet life but we feel it is important to be here helping out our neighbors.
