Maan Brick Field

Maan Brick Field is located out in Village Sinauli. We are in the Baraut taluka of Baghpat district. If you know the local sugar mill, we are quite close to that. The air around here often smells like the mill when they are processing. Our work is all about the earth and the fire needed to make bricks. We have been at this spot for a long time. It is a rural area, so things move a bit slower than in the city. We have rows of bricks drying in the sun most of the year. When the season is right, the kiln is always burning. It is hot, dusty work and we don't pretend otherwise. We don't have a big corporate office or a website with lots of photos. We just have our land and the bricks we make. People from around Sinauli and Baraut come to us when they are building something new. We know the soil here well because we use it every day. It is a tough way to make a living, but it is what we do. We don't use any special mission statements. We just try to get the bricks fired right so they don't crumble. If you are passing by the sugar mill, you can see our stacks of red bricks from the road. It is just us working in the field.
