If you’ve ever driven down Jessore Road in Barasat, you know how long it can take to get anywhere. We are located at 118/1, right in the thick of things near the Barasat H Q area. It’s a lively spot because of all the traffic moving toward the airport or deeper into the suburbs. Our shop handles a mix of computer stuff and telecom things, so the shelves are always a bit of a jumble. One day we’re looking at a phone screen, and the next we’re trying to fix a desktop that someone brought in from their house. The road outside is always dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass counters so people can actually see what’s inside. It’s a local business through and through. We know most of the people who walk in because they live just a few streets away. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk to our customers across the counter about what’s wrong with their gear. Sometimes we stay late when a repair is being stubborn, listening to the horns honking outside. It’s just how things go here on Jessore Road, and we’ve become a part of the daily scenery for the people living nearby.
