Swapna International

Our office is located out in Rajarhat Gopalpur, near Narayanpur. It is a bit of a distance from the city center, and it can be hard to find if you are not from around here. We spend most of our hours on the telephone or looking at various shipping papers. The walls in our office are pretty bare, except for a calendar and a map we use for reference. It is mostly just a few desks and computers in a small room. We handle international trade work, which mostly involves tracking where cargo is and making sure the documents are correct. It can be a bit boring sometimes, just waiting for updates from the port. When there are delays, we have to spend the whole day explaining it to people. It is a lot of back and forth work. The building we are in is getting a bit old, and the elevator doesn't always work perfectly. We often just take the stairs to get up. Rajarhat is growing very fast, but our little corner near Narayanpur still feels quiet. There are only a few of us here trying to keep everything organized. We usually eat lunch at our desks because there is always something to do. It is a straightforward business without any extra fluff or fancy lobbies. If you visit us, you will just see us working. We just focus on the logistics and hope everything arrives.
