Green World Nursery

Green World Nursery is tucked away in Vill-Harin Khola. If you are heading towards P.O. Chakla in the Ps Deganga area, you will find us there. It’s a bit of a drive out into the more quiet parts, which makes sense for what we do. We spend all day with our hands in the dirt. It isn’t a fancy shop with glass windows. It is mostly rows of plants, saplings, and bags of soil. We have been growing things here for a while. The weather really dictates our day. If it’s raining, we are out checking the drainage, and if it’s hot, we are watering everything constantly. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know which plants like the shade and which ones need the sun. People from the nearby villages and even further away come by when they want to start a garden or need some trees for their land. We don't really do advertisements. Usually, people just see our gate or hear about us from a neighbor. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting pots and digging holes. We get dirty every single day, but that’s just how a nursery works. We aren't trying to sell you something you don't need; we just show you what is growing well and let you decide. It's a simple life out here in Harin Khola, and we prefer being outside rather than in an office.
