Shiva Enterprises

You can find Shiva Enterprises at Pratap Chowk in the Golkamra area. It is a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise from the horns and the people walking by our front door. We have a small shopfront that is packed with all sorts of things we have collected or traded over time. It is a bit of a squeeze once you get inside because we try to make use of every inch of shelf space. The walls are lined with various items, and sometimes it takes us a minute to remember exactly where we put something. We don't have a fancy display or bright lights. Most of the time, the overhead bulb is enough to see what we are doing. Our days are spent talking to the regulars who stop by for a chat or to see if we have anything new in stock. We keep a ledger on the desk to track the sales, and the ink is always smudging because the paper is a bit thin. It is just the two of us running things, so if the phone rings while we are helping a customer, it might take a moment for us to get to it. We like being part of the Golkamra neighborhood because everyone knows everyone else. It is a bit chaotic sometimes with the traffic at the chowk, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We keep a stash of tea and biscuits behind the counter for the regulars.
