Iqbal Agency

Iqbal Agency is over in the Shah E Hamadam Complex. We are situated in the New Colony area of Sopore. The complex is a familiar spot for people around here, so we don't usually have to give much directions. Sopore can be a cold place in the winter, and the shop feels it. We spend a lot of time near the heater when there aren't any customers. The agency is mostly filled with boxes and crates stacked up high. There is a small counter where we sit and talk to whoever walks in. It’s not a high-tech operation. We use a lot of paper notebooks and pens to keep track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. The windows look out onto the street, and we can see the daily life of New Colony passing by. Sometimes things are quiet and we just sit and drink salted tea. Other days, it’s a bit of a rush with deliveries arriving all at once. The floor is made of old tiles that have seen better days, and the shelves are a bit crooked from the weight of the stock. We don’t have any fancy signs or advertisements outside. People just know where we are and what we do. We’ve been part of the local scene for a while, just running the agency and making sure the supplies get where they need to go in the district.
