ALEXANDER EXPORT HOUSE

ALEXANDER EXPORT HOUSE is tucked away in Umar Colony (B), right near the New I. T. I. in Khoja Bagh. It’s a quiet residential-feeling area, which is nice for working. We have a lot of space for our goods here. It's mostly about moving items out to different places. We spend a lot of time checking boxes and making sure labels are correct. It’s a bit of a process. The staff here are mostly local people from around the neighborhood. We’ve known each other for ages. It’s not a high-pressure environment, though we do get busy when a big shipment is due. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just use the phone and email to keep in touch with people. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we get by. Khoja Bagh is a decent place to be based. It’s easy enough for the trucks to get in and out without too much trouble. We take pride in just getting the items sent off on time. It's a simple export business. No bells and whistles. We keep the place tidy, but it's definitely a working warehouse and office. You’ll usually find one of us drinking tea and going over the inventory lists while the radio plays in the background. That’s just the daily routine here, and we're used to it. It’s a good way to earn a living without too much fuss.
