Lilai Earth Movers

Lilai Earth Movers is situated in Vadgaon Nimbalkar, right near the petrol pump. It’s a handy location because we’re always needing fuel for the tractors and the backhoes. Being near the pump means we see a lot of people passing through, and they often stop by to ask about our rates or if we’re available for a quick job nearby. The yard is usually a bit of a mess with piles of gravel or some old buckets lying around. We don’t put much stock in appearances; we care more about whether the engines start in the morning. We do a lot of work around the village and the nearby farms. Sometimes we’re out in the fields for days, digging trenches or helping with irrigation projects. It’s dusty work, and you definitely need a good wash at the end of the shift. The team here is small, just a couple of us who know how to handle the heavy stuff. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. We just have a small room with a table where we keep our logbooks and drink tea while we wait for the next job. Life in Vadgaon Nimbalkar is quiet for the most part, except for the sound of our engines. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we’re just happy to be working in our own corner of the world.
