Kinex Media

We are Kinex Media, and our office is on Watline Avenue in Mississauga. If you know this part of Ontario, you know it’s a mix of different businesses and warehouses. Our day-to-day usually involves a lot of time in front of screens. It’s a quiet office for the most part, though there’s usually some music playing or people chatting about a project. We handle digital work, which means we’re often deep into code or looking at designs. The commute on Watline can be a bit of a pain during rush hour, but we’re used to it. We have a small kitchen where everyone makes their coffee, and that’s usually where the best ideas come from. It’s not a huge corporate skyscraper; it’s a comfortable space where we can focus. We don’t have a dress code or anything like that. People show up in jeans and get to work. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, ordering pizza and just grinding it out. Canada’s winters mean we spend a lot of time indoors, so we try to make the office feel a bit more like home. We’ve been at this Mississauga spot for several years now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s a good place to be, surrounded by other companies just doing their thing. We like the practical nature of our work and the people we work with.
