Hotel Jai Hind

Being right by the Old Bus Stand makes our hotel a very busy place to run. The address is simple, just the bus stand area with the pin code 327001. You can hear the buses and the people shouting all day long, so it is never really quiet here. We have been in this location for many years. It is an old building and we haven't changed much over time. The rooms are basic with just the things you need for a night, like a bed and a small bathroom. We don't have elevators or room service. People usually stay with us because they just got off a long bus ride and need a cheap place to sleep before they move on the next morning. We see all kinds of travelers coming through here from all over the region. The lobby is just a small room with a desk where one of us sits to hand out the keys. We don't do any marketing because the bus stand brings people to our door every single day. The walls have some marks on them and the furniture is old, but we make sure the sheets are washed and the fans are working. It is a family-run operation and we all take turns staying up late to check people in. It is a lot of work, but we are used to the noise and the pace of the bus stand by now.
