Hotel Pratibha Palace

This hotel sits in Shastri Colony on Shastri Marg. We are right opposite the Government College here in 314001. Because of the college, we get a lot of students’ parents staying with us during exam times or admissions. It’s a pretty straightforward building. We don't have a big sign, but people find us easily enough. The rooms are basic with a bed, a small cupboard, and a window. Some windows look out onto the street, others look at the back wall. We have a small desk at the entrance where one of us is usually sitting. We don't have fancy room service, but we can bring you water or tea if you ask. The area is relatively quiet compared to the main market, which is nice for sleeping. We’ve had some of the same staff for a long time. They know how to keep things running. The floor is made of old stone, so it stays cool in the summer. We don't have air conditioning in every room, just the ones on the second floor. It’s not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We just provide a room and a key. Most of our guests are here for a specific reason and they don't stay long. We like keeping things quiet and manageable. It's a small local business and we're okay with that.
