Asgar Ali Gulam Ali is our family business located on Nehru Marg in Kushalgarh. We are situated quite close to Thandla Road, which is a busy part of the town. This place has been our work home for a long time. We deal with various things depending on what the season calls for or what the local folks are asking for. The shop is old and has that lived-in feel to it. We don't bother with painting the walls every year or putting up bright modern lights. It's more about having what people need when they come through the door. The street outside is usually full of bikes and people walking to the local market. We spend a lot of time just managing the stock and talking to people who stop by for a minute. Sometimes the family helps out when it gets busy during the peak hours. We don't have a big team or any fancy equipment, just us and our hands. It’s a quiet life mostly, punctuated by the noise of the traffic on Nehru Marg. We like it this way. No corporate rules or complicated computer systems to follow here. If something needs doing, we just do it ourselves. People know where to find us if they need something reliable. We’ve seen the town change a lot over the years, but our little spot here stays pretty much the same. It's just an honest way to earn a living.
