Dan Enterprise

Dan Enterprise is located right here in the Akui village area. It's a quiet part of Bankura district, but we stay busy enough. I started this because there wasn't much else going on near the post office. We handle whatever comes our way throughout the week. Sometimes I have to travel out toward the main town to pick up supplies, which takes a good chunk of the day. The roads around here aren't always the best, especially when it rains hard. My desk is usually covered in papers and ledgers because I still like writing things down by hand. It feels more real that way. People from the village stop by to ask about work or just to see what we have in. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the door and the name. Most people know where Dan Enterprise is if they live nearby. My cousin helps me with the deliveries when the load gets too much for one person. We work six days a week, sometimes seven if the orders are backed up. It's a lot of sitting and waiting for the phone or a visitor. You get used to the pace of life in Bankura. It is slow but steady. We just try to get the jobs done without making too much of a fuss about it. That is how we have always operated. It keeps the lights on and things moving along for us.
