Working out of Plot No. 44 97A in Electronics City on Hosur Road means we're right in the middle of everything. Infosys Technologies Ltd. is a big name, but on our floor, it’s just a bunch of people trying to solve coding problems. The commute on Hosur Road is a nightmare most mornings, so we're all pretty relieved once we get to the desk and have some coffee. The building is huge, but you find your own little corner. We spend a lot of time on calls or just staring at lines of code on the screens. It’s not all high-tech magic; it’s a lot of repetitive checking and fixing things that break. The cafeteria is where most of the actual talking happens. We try to keep things simple despite the size of the company. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so you end up chatting with someone from a completely different department. We have our routines here at Plot 44. The air conditioning is always a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at the office. Even though it's a famous company, the daily life is just about getting through the tickets and meeting the deadlines. We aren't doing anything fancy for show, just keeping the systems running like they're supposed to. Electronics City has its own vibe, and we've been part of it for a long time now. It’s just work like anywhere else.
