Infosys Ltd.

Being located at Plot No. 44 Hosur Rd in Electronic City is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, you have the name of Infosys Ltd. on the gate, but on the other hand, it’s just another place where we spend our nine to five. The traffic on Hosur Road is legendary and most of us arrive a bit frazzled from the commute. Once you get inside the gates though, things settle down a bit. The building is large and there are plenty of desks and computers everywhere you look. It’s quite different from the smaller shops down the road because everything is so organized and clean. Still, it feels like a second home after you have been here for a few years. We have our favorite spots for a quick break and the cafeteria is where most of the gossip happens. Even in a place this big, you end up knowing the security guards and the folks who keep the place tidy. The glass windows give a nice view of the trees but mostly we are just looking at our screens. It’s a lot of meetings and typing and trying to figure out why something isn't working right. The sun sets over Electronic City and the lights of the other buildings start flickering on. It’s a busy environment but we have our own little routines that make the day go by faster. It’s just where we go to work.
