I am based out of Vidyaranyapura at number 154. It is a residential kind of area, so it is mostly quiet except for the usual street sounds like the milk delivery or people walking their dogs in the morning. My workspace is just a room filled with folders, a big desk, and a chair that really needs a new cushion. I spend most of my time looking over documents and making calls to sort out whatever needs fixing for the day. Being a consultant means a lot of reading and writing, so there are stacks of paper everywhere that I keep promising to file away properly. I usually start quite early before the sun gets too hot. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and I see the same people passing by every day. It’s not a big corporate setup with a receptionist or fancy coffee machines. I just make my own coffee in the kitchen and get back to the desk. People usually call before they come over to Vidyaranyapura 154 because it’s easy to miss the house number if you aren't looking closely. It is a straightforward way of working. I don't really have a team, it’s just me handling the details and keeping track of the schedules. The evenings are nice when the neighborhood settles down and I can finally clear off the desk for the next morning's work.
