Sri Manjunath Hardware

If you walk around Pratap Singh Nagar in Yeshwantpur, you will find Sri Manjunath Hardware near Jacob Circle. The shop is usually a bit of a jumble with pipes leaning against the walls and boxes of screws stacked up high. It’s a hardware store, so things are never going to stay perfectly clean with all the metal and dust moving around. We have been in this spot, at address number 48, for a good while. People from the neighborhood come in when a tap is leaking or when they need a specific type of drill bit that they can’t find elsewhere. We try to keep a bit of everything, from basic hammers to the heavy-duty stuff for construction. It’s loud around here because of the circle and all the traffic moving through Yeshwantpur. Sometimes we’re so busy digging through bins for a specific washer that we don't even hear someone walk in at first. We aren't some big modern showroom with bright lights. It’s just a regular shop where you can get what you need for a repair. We know our regulars by name and we know which parts of their houses are giving them trouble. It’s honest work, moving heavy boxes and counting out nails. We stay open pretty late most days because people always realize they need a tool right after they get home from work.
