Southern Chemicals

We are located over at New Guddahalli, right off Mysore Road. The address is a bit of a mouthful, No 17, or New No 36, depending on who you ask. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. It’s a busy area with trucks always moving around. Inside, we have stacks of barrels and bags. It smells like a lab sometimes, other times just like dust. We spend a lot of time checking labels and moving stock around with the hand trolley. It’s heavy work, and the floors are concrete and hard on the feet. The office in the front is small and usually has stacks of invoices everywhere. My nephew helps with the loading when he’s not at school. We deal with all kinds of industrial stuff that people need for their factories. It’s not the most exciting job, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the traffic on Mysore Road makes deliveries a pain. You have to time it right or you’ll be sitting there for an hour. The building itself is older, but it does the job. We keep the doors open when it’s hot to get a breeze, though it mostly just brings in the noise from the street. We’ve got a regular rhythm here. Most of our regulars know exactly where to pull their trucks in. Southern Chemicals isn't a big corporation, just a few of us making sure orders get out. The coffee machine in the corner is the most important thing we own.
