You’ll find Search International at 4, First Main Road in Kalaimagal Nagar, over in the Ekkattuthangal area. It’s a busy part of town, and there’s always something happening right outside our front door. Our office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to drop by. We’ve been here for several years now. The space inside is mostly desks, computers, and stacks of paperwork that never seem to get any smaller. We handle various international trade and sourcing tasks. It’s not a glamorous job. A lot of our time is spent on the phone or writing emails to people in different time zones. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just have to wait around, which can be frustrating. We don't have a fancy lobby or a person at the front desk to greet you. Usually, we just look up from our screens when the door opens. The walls are mostly bare, except for a map and a few notes taped up near the light switch. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, files tend to pile up on every available surface. Ekkattuthangal has changed a lot since we moved in, but our little corner of First Main Road stays pretty much the same. We aren't interested in sounding bigger than we are. We just do our work, talk to our contacts, and make sure things get where they need to go.
