Our office for R P Research Pvt Ltd is over in Btm Layout 2nd Stage, specifically at 230 C V Raman Avenue. It’s a decent area, though the parking can be a real headache if you get here after nine in the morning. The building itself is a bit older, and the elevator makes a weird grinding sound, so most of us just take the stairs to get some exercise. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of computers and a lot of printed papers scattered around on the tables. We do a lot of data checking and looking into things for our projects, which means we are usually staring at screens for hours at a time. The breakroom is just a small corner with a fridge and a microwave that takes forever to heat up lunch. We usually bring our own food because eating out every day gets expensive. There are some trees outside the window which is nice when you need to rest your eyes for a minute. The carpet has a few stains from where someone spilled coffee a couple of years ago, but nobody really minds. We aren't a big operation, just a handful of us trying to get through the daily tasks and make sense of the information we have. It’s quiet work, and we prefer it that way. We also have a small whiteboard that is mostly covered in old drawings rather than actual work notes.
