Om The Production House

Our place is on Mission Road, right at the junction of Jangali Maharaj Road in Shivaji Nagar 22. It’s a busy area, so there is always something going on outside our windows. Inside, it’s a bit different. We have cameras, tripods, and a few computers that stay on almost all the time. Being a production house means we spend a lot of hours in the dark, looking at footage and trying to cut things together. It’s not always glamorous like people think. There is a lot of waiting for files to export and carrying heavy gear up and down the stairs. We’ve been at this Shivaji Nagar location for a bit, and we’ve seen all sorts of projects come through the door. Some days we are out on a shoot getting dusty, and other days we are just sitting here drinking too much coffee and staring at monitors. The walls are covered with old posters and notes from previous jobs. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that because most of our time is spent in the back working. It gets pretty cluttered with cables and hard drives, but we know where everything is. People come to us when they need something filmed or edited, and we just do our best to get it finished on time. It’s a lot of hard work and long nights, but that’s just the nature of the production business. We keep our heads down and stay busy with the reels.
