Mts Store

Over here in Padmanabhanagar, things are a bit calmer than the city center. We are at C P Tank Road 25, which is a nice enough address to have. The Mts Store is where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s a simple setup with a wooden counter that’s seen better days. We don’t have a lot of fancy displays, just what’s necessary to show what we have in stock. A lot of the elderly folks from the neighborhood come by just to ask for help with their phones because they trust us not to rush them. It’s nice to be able to help out like that. My daughter sometimes comes in after school to help organize the SIM cards and the recharge vouchers. We have a small plant by the window, though it doesn't get much sun. The street outside is usually lined with scooters and people walking to the park. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that; word of mouth has always been enough for us. Sometimes the stock delivery is late and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s just a regular local business, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the doors open until about eight at night, then we head home like everyone else. It’s a good life, and we appreciate the people who stop by to support us.
