Micropower Ups

Micropower Ups is run by Arun J and is located right across from the Forest Office on College Road. The address is 5-45, Mathru-Sree Nilaya. It’s a place where we deal with power backups and UPS systems because the local electricity can be a bit unreliable at times. Being in the Bangalore 562-114 area, we see a lot of people looking for ways to keep their computers or appliances running when the lights go out. It’s not a large operation, just a steady one based out of a residential-style building. We spend a lot of time testing batteries and making sure the units are charging correctly. Some days are slow, others are packed with people bringing in old units for repair. The location near the college makes it a familiar landmark for those living nearby. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Mostly, it’s just tools, parts, and heavy backup boxes sitting around. We try to keep things organized, but it gets cluttered when several jobs come in at once. Jayarama M’s family has been around here for a while, so people know the name and where to find us. We just focus on the technical side of things and try to help out whoever walks through the door with a power problem. It’s honest work and we stay busy enough without needing to be loud about it.
