Lingo India Pvt Ltd is located over at 81/2 in Basavanagudi. We spend our days mostly working with languages, which involves a lot of reading and typing. The office is situated in a nice part of town, and we’ve grown quite fond of the area over the years. It’s not a very loud place inside, as most of us are concentrated on our screens or talking quietly on the phone. We deal with a lot of different documents and translations, so there’s always something new to look at. Basavanagudi has a lot of history, and we like being tucked away in this part of the city. The office itself is pretty simple—just desks, computers, and a lot of dictionaries. We don't really go in for modern decor or anything like that; we just need a quiet spot to get our work done. Sometimes we have people come in to discuss a project, but mostly we just work through emails. It’s a steady pace here, and we try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy slogans. We’re just a small group of people who are good with words and enjoy working in this neighborhood. If you ever walk past 81/2, you might see us through the window, usually with a cup of tea and a lot of papers on our desks.
