Krayons

Bilekahalli is a pretty crowded neighborhood, and we’re right in the middle of it at number 3. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking closely. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we do at Krayons. Most days involve a lot of moving around. It’s never quiet here, which is just the way it goes. We have some basic furniture and a lot of materials stacked up in the corners. It can get a bit messy during the middle of the day, but we try to tidy up before we head out. There are three of us who handle the main work. We don't have a big reception area or a person to answer every single call immediately, so sometimes the phone just rings for a bit. The local shops nearby are where we get our lunch most days. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have some grand vision we talk about; we just want to make sure the kids or whoever is here has what they need. The walls have some marks on them from years of use, but it gives the place some character. We’ve thought about painting, but there never seems to be a good time to stop everything. It’s just a regular local spot where we do our thing and try to keep everyone happy, even when things get a bit chaotic in the afternoons.
