Our office is at 24/A in Nanjundeshwara Lay Out, over in J. P. Nagar Vth Phase. Bangalore is a big city, but this little pocket feels a bit more grounded. Keithley Instruments International Corporation has been operating out of this spot for some time now. It’s a typical layout area, so it’s got that residential feel even though we are working on international stuff. The building isn't anything special to look at from the street, but we have everything we need inside. We spend a lot of time on our instruments and keeping things accurate. It’s quiet enough here that we can actually get things done without too much distraction. Sometimes the traffic in Bangalore makes it hard for people to reach us, but once they’re here, it’s fine. We don’t have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist. Usually, one of us just comes to the door. We’ve got a small team that knows their way around the technical side of things. It’s practical work. We eat lunch together and talk about the day. It doesn't feel like a giant corporation when you are actually inside the room. It just feels like a bunch of people trying to do a good job with the tools we have. We’ve grown fond of this neighborhood and its daily patterns.
