K A Architect is based out of Jay Mahal Extension. We are right on the Mumbai Pune Highway Road 13. It’s a location that sees a lot of cars passing by every single day. Working as an architect here means we see a lot of changes in the landscape. Our office isn't some high-rise studio. It’s a functional space where we draw and plan things out. Sometimes the noise from the highway gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a while. We have blueprints and sketches scattered around most of the time. It’s how we work best. We don't go for fancy words or big presentations. If you want to talk about a building or a renovation, we just sit down and look at the drawings together. The area around Road 13 has changed a lot since we first set up here. Being near the highway makes it easy for us to get to different sites between Mumbai and Pune. It’s a good spot for what we do. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a dedicated team focusing on one project at a time. K A Architect is just a local business trying to make things look a bit better one drawing at a time. We keep it real and honest with everyone. The office cat usually sleeps on the drafting table and we have to move her to see the plans. It is a messy, creative place that we really enjoy working in every single day.
