Our office for G Shantharam And Associates is located at C Otimma Hanumayya in Bangalore. If you know the 560044 area in Karnataka, you know how the traffic can be. It takes a while to get here some mornings. The office itself is tucked away and is usually a bit quiet until the phones start ringing. We have been here in India for quite some time now. The walls are covered with some old calendars and a few shelves that are sagging under the weight of all the books. It’s a simple place to work. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy coffee machines. We just use the kettle in the back when we need a drink. Most days, we are just sitting at our desks going through paperwork or talking to people who come by for a meeting. Bangalore is a fast-growing city but our little corner feels a bit more settled. The floors are made of stone and they stay cool even when it’s warm outside. G Shantharam And Associates is just a small group of us doing our jobs day in and day out. We try to keep the files organized but there is always a stray paper somewhere. It is a bit messy sometimes but that is just how a working office looks. We close up and head home through the Bangalore evening air once the work is done.
