Infosys

Infosys is located out in Electronic City on Hosur Road. It is a huge area and there are so many of us working here. Most mornings involve sitting in traffic on the way to the office. Once we get inside the gates, it feels like a different world compared to the rest of the city. There are lots of trees and paths between the different buildings. We spend our days mostly sitting in front of computers. It is quiet inside the offices, except for the sound of people typing or talking in low voices. We have a cafeteria where we all go to eat lunch, and that is usually the loudest part of the day. It is a big company, but we mostly just interact with our own small teams. We don’t really think about the big corporate stuff much. We just focus on the tasks we are given for the week. The walk from the bus stop or the parking lot can be long depending on where your desk is. We are just a bunch of people trying to do our jobs well and get home to our families. It is a long day usually, but the work keeps us occupied. Being on Hosur Road means we are right in the tech hub of the city, even if it feels like a bit of a trek to get here every day. We just keep our heads down.
