Imagine Store

You can find the Imagine Store tucked inside the Vi Bk area of The Forum Mall in Koramangala, right on Hosur Road. Being in a mall means it’s always busy, especially on the weekends. We handle all the gadgets and computers that people come in to look at. It’s a clean space, mostly white and bright, because that’s the look we have to keep up. We spend most of the day standing on our feet, talking to people about phones and tablets. Some customers know exactly what they want, while others have a hundred questions about how to use a mouse. We try to help everyone, but when the store gets packed, it can be a bit overwhelming. The back room is small and usually filled with boxes and chargers. We don't have much of a break room, so we usually just head out to the mall food court for lunch. It’s a lot of repetitive work—cleaning finger marks off the screens and making sure the displays are straight. We deal with people who are excited about new tech and others who are upset because they dropped their phone. It’s a mix of emotions every day. Working at 210 Hosur Road means we see all sorts of people walking through the doors. We aren't some big corporate bosses; we are just the staff trying to make sure you get the right cord or the right laptop. It gets loud with the mall music nearby, but we’re used to it. We just stay focused on the job until the mall closes.
