Hcl Info Systems Ltd is located out in Kothanur. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from the city center, but we like the quieter atmosphere. The office is a basic building with a small parking area out front that usually has a few motorbikes in it. Inside, it’s mostly open space with rows of desks and a lot of computer monitors. We don’t have any decorations or missions statements on the walls. It’s just a place for work. Kothanur used to be a lot more empty, but now there are shops and houses everywhere. We have a small window in the back that looks out onto some trees. We spend our days managing information systems and handling data. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing, so we try to get up and walk around whenever we can. The water cooler is the main gathering spot where we talk about the news or the weather. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a very simple existence. We don't try to impress anyone with a big showroom. If you come to see us in Kothanur, you’ll just see a regular group of people working hard. It’s a practical office for a practical team. We like the local food stalls nearby too. Most of us bring our own lunch anyway.
