Electronic Field

You can find Electronic Field over at Old Madras Road in Bangalore. Specifically, we're with A. V. Prakesh in the Avalahalli area near Virgonagar. Bangalore has changed a lot since I started, but this part of the city still has a bit of that older feel, even with all the new trucks rumbling past on the main road. The dust is a constant battle here. I spend half my morning just wiping down the workbenches before I can even start on the electronics. The space is shared, so it’s a bit of a mix of different things going on at once. I usually have a radio playing in the background to keep me company while I’m probing circuits. My tools are old, some of them handed down, but they still work better than the cheap new ones you find online. I get a lot of people stopping by because they saw the name while stuck in traffic. I don't really do any advertising. I just figure if I do a decent job for a fair price, people will come back. The wiring in this building can be a bit finicky, so I have to use a stabilizer for most of my sensitive gear. It’s not a high-tech lab with white coats. It’s just a practical workshop where we try to make things work again. Most days are long, but I like the puzzle of it all.
