Club Laptop

Our Club Laptop branch is situated at number 14 on the 1St Cross in Hosur Layout. It is a smallish shop where we spend our days looking at the insides of computers and trying to figure out why they stopped working. The tables are usually covered in tiny screws, screwdrivers, and spare parts that we have taken out of different machines. We have some shelves along the walls where we keep the laptops that are waiting for parts or for their owners to come and get them. Hosur Layout is a decent neighborhood, and we have been here long enough that most of the people nearby know where to find us when their screen cracks or their battery dies. It is not the cleanest place because of all the electronic dust and the wires everywhere, but it is a working shop. We usually have a fan going because it gets a bit warm with all the machines running at once. Sometimes the repairs take longer than we thought, especially if we have to wait for a part to arrive in the mail. We just take things as they come and try to get through the pile of work on the bench. It is a quiet kind of life, just us and the circuit boards and the sound of the keyboard clicking. We keep a pot of coffee in the corner and there is usually a stack of old motherboards in a box by the door.
