Canon Image Square

Down here at Malleshwaram 1, our Canon Image Square is just a basic shop for people who like taking photos. It’s not a complicated place at all. We have the shelves lined with cameras and a few tripods sitting in the corner. Most days involve us opening up early and getting the displays ready for whoever might walk in. Malleshwaram has a certain feel to it, and we try to match that by being quiet and just helping out when someone asks a question. Sometimes a student comes in looking for their first real camera, and other times it’s someone who has been shooting for thirty years. We don't have a big corporate speech ready for anyone. We just show you where the cameras are and let you look. The shop is small enough that you can find everything pretty quickly. We keep the latest models when they come out, but we still appreciate the older stuff too. It’s mostly about finding something that works for what you want to do. We spend a lot of time just organizing boxes or making sure the lenses don't have dust on them. It’s regular work, nothing too exciting, but we enjoy being part of the local community here. If you need a memory card or just want to see a specific camera body, we are usually around. We don't do anything fancy, just keep the doors open and the gear ready. It’s a good spot to just talk shop and see what’s new.
